RedLine Rescue

Proudly operated by UCF RESTORES, Redline Rescue is dedicated to the mission of serving firefighters and their families in their times of need. We are a community of firefighters and professionals committed to serving those who serve selflessly behind the badge. This site grew out of one firefighter’s commitment to resiliency and recovery through connectivity to the community. This mission is built on the foundation of connecting firefighters and their families to trained peer providers and culturally competent clinicians in their times of need. 

Florida Firefighters Safety & Health Collaborative

The Florida Firefighters Safety & Health Collaborative is a FREE Program to Fire Departments looking to enhance and maintain an effective Safety Committee and/or Safety Program. The FFHSC incorporates several topics; all aimed at improving Firefighter safety and health with a focus on Firefighter Cancer Prevention, Emotional and Mental Wellness, Health & Physical Fitness, Caregiver Support, and Safety on all emergency incidents.

UCF Restores

UCF RESTORES – which includes the National Center of Excellence for First Responder Behavioral Health– is a nonprofit clinical research center and treatment clinic established to change the way posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related concerns are understood, diagnosed and treated.

2nd Alarm Project

The 2nd Alarm Project® is a nonprofit organization that offers comprehensive, evidence-based resiliency programs and services to support the mental health of first responders. What began in 2019 after Hurricane Michael as a SAMHSA grant to support NW Florida fire service members has grown to serve as a comprehensive resource for first responders and their families throughout the state of Florida and beyond.

First Responder Center for Excellence

The First Responder Center for Excellence for Reducing Occupational Illness, Injuries and Deaths, Inc., (FRCE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Center receives funding through private donations from individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations. The FRCE is a National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) affiliate organization, created in 2016. Its mission is to promote quality educational awareness and research to reduce physical and psychological health and wellness issues for first responders.

1st Responders Children Foundation

This organization supports the children & families of First Responder heroes who risk their lives every day in service to our communities.

Intl. Association of Fire Fighters

The International Association of Fire Fighters includes in its mission the promotion of safe and healthy working environments. As part of that mission, they offer resources related to behavioral health.

National Alliance on Mental Illness

First Responders Mental Health Treatment Program

Shatterproof FHE Health (formerly Florida House Shatterproof) employs evidence-based therapies, innovative medical care, and a comprehensive wellness program to help first responders successfully manage their condition and/or achieve life-long recovery from drugs and alcohol.

IAFF Center of Excellence

Created in partnership with Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS), the IAFF Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health Treatment and Recovery is a flagship recovery center exclusively for IAFF members struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction, substance and alcohol abuse, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health conditions.

For over a decade, UCF RESTORES has pioneered advancements in trauma management, serving first responders, veterans, active-duty personnel, and civilians impacted by mass violence, natural disasters, and more.
